Adrian Adel

The powerhouse soul singer known as Adrian Adel has been heating up stages for over 20 years. From a very young age, Adrian had aspirations of studying at Julliard to become an opera singer and a music teacher. Life lead her in a different direction, landing her a spot in a 16-piece funk band that strayed Adrian away from classical music. She was in love with the funk and never looked back.



Adrian spent a lot of time in the Portland music scene, playing most every venue in the city, singing backup for different groups and bands such as Hungry Mob with Mic Crenshaw and Fatman with JR Pella. She’s had the opportunity to sing next to Michael Franti and Spearhead as well as opening for acts such as The Coup, Macklemore, the late Guru, Pete Miser & Five Fingers of Funk and Dead Prez.
